CSA Week 5

I know I missed week 5 (last week)...that's because I ate almost everything before photographing it. Also, I officially hate radicchio.

Vegetables: radicchio, scallions, lettuce, shelling peas, carrots
Fruit: 3 pints raspberries
Flowers: snapdragons

Here's what I made with it:

  • Linguini with grilled radicchio, scallions, parsley-walnut pesto, and parmesan (this was my final attempt to make peace with radicchio and it did not go well - but if you like radicchio, here's the recipe that was the model for this dish)
  • Pea risotto with pea broth, parmesan, and parsley-lemon gremolata
  • Raspberry-almond cake
  • Hummus sandwiches with lettuce, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, olives, and harissa
